Holding Hands (Sawyer/Leo)

It's something that it doesn't even blip on his internal radar - the whole thing has to be pointed out to him by Gus actually. And he thinks that Gus probably thinks it's a little hilarious that he has to actually inform Leo that he's been dating Sawyer for the past however long. Because they hold hands all the time and he doesn't do that with anyone else. And well okay, that's fair, he doesn't want to hold hands with anyone else but Sawyer.

But.

They've never had the talk. Not that one, the talk about whether or not they are actually each other's person and whether that means monogamy or if she wants an open relationship and really for Leo, it'd be monogamy because even Emma can't hold a candle to Sawyer and her hysterical awesomeness. But he doesn't want to harsh Sawyer's anything, so if she wants open, he won't make voodoo dolls of her other interests.

Unless it's Gus. Then he might start asking about possible threesomes. Because Gus.

But that's possibly also a pipe dream.

Anyways, now he can't seem to stop thinking about it. Him and Sawyer and dating and then marriage and maybe kids, if the cancer hasn't like completely made him totally fire blanks for the rest of his life.

But that's probably getting ahead of himself too. He's sixteen, she's seventeen, Dash will totally murder him if he starts humming the song from Sound of Music again.

He'll ask her about it tonight. Maybe. See if Sawyer wants to do more than hold hands with him.

Cuddling

It's one of the not great days and he hasn't been able to get out of bed at all. It's part of theside effect of the drugs he's on for this experimental trial. Which sucks cause today was the day that he and Sawyer had planned to go out for dinner and then maybe up to the roof to look at the constellations. And now he's sweaty and shaking and miserable.

Even more so now that he has to cancel on her. He hates it when that happens. She always understands but still sometimes he wonders when it'll be too much and she'll leave him for someone who can actually take her dancing in Paris and shopping in Shanghai.

He knows that she loves him and that's what keeps him going most days. Days like today, though it's just so hard to see the good through the pain and the sweats.
And he doesn't know how she always knows the exact right thing to do, but he woke up to find her cuddled up behind him and he doesn't know if she's actually magic or if it's just a placebo effect where his brain just equates her with good and sunshine and warmth.

He sort of also doesn't care, because she's here and she's holding tight to him and he knows that she won't let him go.

One Sided

He's tried, okay?

He has tried so hard to get it to like him. So hard. He's bribed it, tried to treat it nicely and no dice. None.

The thing refuses to even acknowledge that Leo is even there most of the time. And he's just...he's at his wits end.

He wants the thing to like him since the thing is clearly not going anywhere. He will settle for casual indifference and the occasional acknowledgement.

No dice, it's apparently a one human lizard and it's human is Sawyer. Which is cool, he understands liking her. She's pretty much the shining sun of awesome.

And he's not jealous. He's not. It's stupid to be jealous of a lizard.
