onewiththebandThe news wasn't good. Not at all. He was supposed to be discharged and now...he's not going anywhere. He might just be like Hunter and never actually see what life's like outside the hopsital ever again. And he didn't want to do that to Sawyer. Didn't want to put her through that since Hunter's family was destroyed and Kara....Kara's just, he doesn't know if she's dealing or not. She's just still processing everything.
So he needs to tell Sawyer. He's dying again.
And this time they don't know if it'll be as easy to tackle as before. It's spread further and it's more virulent.
And that means no Paris and no trips and probably having to make a movie theater out of his hospital room if they want to watch anything.
He can't call her. He keeps staring at the phone, knowing what he has to do, and just not being able to do it. He can't...he can't be strong for her like he knows he needs to. He can't be strong for anyone right now period. He's too tired to be Superman and his Clark Kent is full of bullet holes at the moment.
So he's curled up in a ball on his bed, phone in his hand and her name selected and he just can't hit the button yet.
His hair is coming back and he was going to be discharged and this...this was not the happy ending he was promised.
